Aluminum is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and easy to machine, making it ideal for aerospace, electronics, and sports equipment. It also provides good thermal and electrical conductivity, along with a clean, aesthetic appearance. However, aluminum fasteners exhibit lower mechanical strength compared to steel, making them less suitable for high-load applications. Additionally, their threads are more susceptible to wear, which may necessitate reinforcement or limited reuse.
